Elara turned 3 the day before we left for California. We took her to Texas Roadhouse for her birthday dinner. We didn't officially celebrate until we got back.
We drove to Austin which is about an hour drive from out house and we left about 5 am. The kids were pretty excited to fly on an airplane again. They did great. Eden sat all by herself and LOVED every second. Kael and Connor sat by me and Derek and Elara sat by each other. It was about a 3 hour flight total, so not too bad. It was good preparation for Disneyland.

We had a warm welcome when we got off the plane. Derek's Mom flew in at the same time as us and then all the Aunt's, Uncle's, cousin's, everyone who was home came to the airport to welcome us!
The kids loved having so much family around to feel so special.
The Pinkston's spoiled us rotten on this trip. They planned out such fun adventures for us. We headed to Rick's house to get settled a bit and then we headed to Tommy's for a yummy lunch.
Eden immediately had Davis right where she wanted him... Eating out of the palm of her hand. Shaved his face with shaving cream and had him be her pony pretty much the entire trip.
Tommy's was fabulous as always.
The slip n slide the cousins set up for the kids. It was so fun.
