March 2021 The rest of the month Mananuska Glacier

More deep snow photos

Elara's friend Elora Green got baptized and she wanted her friends to wear their baptism dresses and her and Elara matched. It sure has been fun having an Elora and an Elara for friends.
We got an aero garden for homeschool. We have been growing herbs without any soil and it has been so fun to try a new way to grow plants.
The girls made breakfast tacos.
Elara got a letter from her primary teacher. It was so nice when people reached out during covid when we weren't able to connect with very many people.
The views from Mt. Baldy never get old.
More ice fishing photos inside our nice warm fishing tent.

Birthday cards for Eden.
An extremely large photo dump.
We drove about 2 hours to Matanuska Glacier just off the freeway. It was incredible. We love this glacier and that we were able to get up close and personal with it. It was majestic and beautiful and the pictures just do not do it justice.

To get closer to the glacier so we didn't have to walk so far they pulled us in a sled using a snow mobile for the first part. Then we put on ice cleats so we had better grip on the ice.

I have the best husband in the world. I loves me and the kid more than any man can. He takes care of us and takes us on the beautiful adventures. I'm so in love with Derek.

The last fishing trip of March. We named the bald eagle "Star" because it sat on top of a Christmas tree.
We have always caught fish whenever we ice fish. We have never left empty handed. Someone always catches at least one fish. It has been so much fun to learn something new this year.
On the drive to go fishing we passed by a porcupine on the side of the road.

On March 31st in preparation for April Fools Day, which Eden has fallen in love with we made a few tricks for the kids to wake up to.
Tooth paste in their oreos and a little green in their milk.
And balloons taped to their door for when they woke up in the morning.
