Family Photo Shoot

We are so blessed to have a really good friend named Kaycee Filmore who we asked to take our family pictures this year before Derek left. Not knowing when he would leave we wanted to get them done early. We just love their family so very much. The kids had school and were just a little grumpy for some reason. Poor Elara seemed miserable and just struggled to smile.

Sorry, but I'm posting them now and not waiting until Christmas time when we send our Christmas cards out.

I'm so grateful for these pictures. The kids each got their own picture with their Dad and got it framed and keep it by there bed while he is gone. We sure love our Derek/Dad/Hubby/Best Friend. These pictures make us smile and for that I am so happy.

Great Wolf Lodge September 2018

We were so grateful for TIME. Time to be just the 6 of us. Time to have fun. To be together.
This trip did not disappoint. The kids loved sleeping in the cabin bunk beds and playing all day.
I'm so grateful to have had this time with our family before Derek had to leave. We all needed this so much and it was such a blessing.

The kids brought extra money for any "extra" fun stuff they wanted to do.
The girls chose a ropes course. It was so much fun. Eden did it 3 times! Poor Elara was stuck on the lower level.

Having "big" kids is so much fun! The SLIDES! All the slides! It was so much fun. If only they would have let Connor go with us and Kael was a little braver.
Elara was big enough to go on all but 2 slides! She was nervous at first, but after trying just one big slide she decided it was the most fun and would not slow down. Those two girls are thrill seekers! Kael did as promised and tried the slides and once he did it once he didn't want to do it again.

Connor loved everything. He is a thrill seeker also and it was so much fun having him big enough to do "more" slides. We still had to stay right by him, but he loved every single second!

The Magi Quest was Kael's favorite part. He paid to do a second quest because he had so much fun.
All 3 big kids got knighted as Magi this time.

Connor loved every second, but when the big kids did Magi Quest he ran around like a maniac in the arcade thinking he was playing every game. He must have spent a couple hours in there and we never once inserted a coin... It was the most expensive and ridiculous arcade we have ever seen. But the flashing lights sure draws in and makes kids ADD!

So much fun was had. We sure love these four kiddos so so much! We feel so blessed and truly enjoyed having time to just have fun!
