There is no better way to start out your day than catching lizards in Nana's back yard. I can't remember which day this was, but it was pretty much every morning for the kid.
On day 2 we took it easy and went to church since it was Sunday and then that evening we were able to have a HUGE family home evening at Nana the Great's and Papa Pat's house. We made sure to get a big family picture and my heart was bursting with happiness.

Family night
We went over our "Pinkston" Family Proclamation. We are super excited to get it up on the wall.
The kids ran around Rick's backyard that day. Doing what? Catching chickens of course.
Chickens are Eden's new favorite thing.
Eden LOVED crawling through the chicken cook to go grab the chickens and catch them. She is quite the chicken tamer now.
I can't remember which day it was on, BUT we went to Rob and Julie's house and saw their awesome house set up. Rob is a bee keeper! It is amazing! They are honey bees and they build their hives in these boxes. I have ALWAYS wanted to see bees in action so it was the perfect opportunity. It was fascinating! We got to wear the suits and Rob showed us all the honey comb and let us chew on some to get the super sweet honey out. It really made me want to get a house on a bunch of land and have a garden, raise chickens, and all kinds of other crazy animals. Someday we will own a home.
The boxes with the different shelves of honey on them. The black dots are all the bees. We had to spray them with smoke to keep them calm.
Yes, just me because I was so excited. Who wouldn't be excited to go right up next to a bunch of bees?!
Eden and her Papa Pat. She loves to snuggle up by him and just chat. The girls with Papa Pat.
Connor Everett with his name sake Papa Pat. I'm so so so happy I got a picture of the two of them.
