Disneyland Day 2 April 28: California Adventure!

First up.
CARS LAND
We RAN as fast as we could while tons of people ran to the fast pass zone. We waited 45 minutes for the Radiator Springs Racers because it kept breaking down. The line was a solid 2 hours the rest of the day and all the fast passes were gone by the time we were done with the ride. It was AWESOME, but it was a long wait. Kael absolutely loved it and totally thought he was driving the car (no steering wheel or anything), and Eden in the back seat with me loved watching the characters before the fast drive. I loved walking through Radiator Springs though and it was beautifully done. Really fun area even though it was super busy 2 years later after opening...

 Bugs Life World
I'm not really sure why, but we all love Heimlich's choo choo train. Maybe it is the fresh smell of watermelon as you pass by, or maybe it is Heimlich saying "candy corn, I LOVE CANDY"... But, it is a favorite of ours.

ALADDIN
I hope they don't ever take this show out. It is so cute and the Genie is always different and funny! Such a nice way to sit and cool off for a while and it is so fun. The kids can actually sit through a play! We were in the mezzanine for the first time (We've seen this at least 3 if not 6 times) and it was AWESOME! So much better to see a flying carpet at eye level.
Before the trip the kids earned Disney dollars by good behavior, chores, homework, and just anything helpful. It was super helpful for me as a Mom because they were always on their best behavior for Disney dollars, and it gave them a spending limit at Disneyland. The money went toward their food and whatever toys they wanted, with a limit of money of course. These are the toys the kids picked out. Kael also got a Zurg gun, but I of course didn't take a picture and it broke a week later.

We finally got to go on Toy Storia Mania. I've wanted to go for about the last 3 times we've been to Disneyland, but there is no fast pass and the line is a beast. We got it down to a 30 minute wait time and tried it out. The kids loved it because it was like 3D arcade games the whole ride. Super fun ride, just wish we had more time to do it again without the 30 minute wait!

Swings
I'm pretty for certain Kael got a little motion sick on this like I always do... He liked it but only did it about twice. Eden on the other hand was barely tall enough with her tall shoes and loved loved loved this ride and wanted to do it over and over again. Thankfully Dad doesn't get sick and was happy to make her happy. It was so fun seeing her love a ride so much.

One more time Mom. And again, one more time Mom. And again, one more time Mom.
LOVE HER!
She even went on it at night time and it was beautiful!
Kael was tall enough for Goofy's Fly School.
I forgot it had a couple small drops.
Kael hates drops. He gets sick like me.
It was all fun and awesome until the drops. Sorry kid. I lied.
He did like it the next day, but didn't want to ride it again.
Going up. Forgot it has to come down.
We learned our lesson to just look at this Ferris Wheel and to NEVER NEVER get on several visits ago.
It was a pretty picture though.
Night time. We had tickets for the World of Color, but we were all so tired and none of us got naps this day, so we canned it and called it a night. We forgot our glow sticks the night before for Fantasmic and brought them to walk home with. We had so much fun! Another huge fun filled day!
