April 27 Day 1 at Disneyland

Day 1
BUSY
EXCITING
FUN FILLED till we dropped and kept going

Entrance
ALWAYS straight to Dumbo

Tea Cups are next!
Stinking small world and the Go Go Gadget Coaster were both down. :(
But, the kids were brave and tried Big Thunder Mountain out once!

The didn't love it. But, about a day later they said it was fun at least. :)
Then, over to the Rockets! A favorite for sure that got ridden a lot.

Captain EO was so fun and we watched it at least 3 times while we were there. Nice way to cool off!
STAR WARS! Kael got to fight DARTH MAUL and Eden fought DARTH VADER!
There is no rhyme or reason to the order of these photos. When your kid fights a Darth you just start snapping 100 pictures and go with it. The kids LOVED this and as a parent I have to say I LOVED it just a much as the kid. It was AWESOME! Kael really wanted to fight Darth Vader, but I was just so happy both kids got picked to be a part of the experience. They were jumping up and down screaming pick me!
SO AWESOME!!!

It's hard to top fighting Darth Vader, but this little girl sure loved meeting Silvermist and Tinkerbell. She was so shy at first and I'm certain 30 minutes after meeting them she thought of plenty of things to talk about and wanted to go back... Waited 45 minutes for this... Whew.
Just keep waiting, just keep waiting...

She immediately ran up and hugged Silvermist. Then, couldn't think of anything to say.
We did determine that she loves snow and must be a winter fairy even though both Silvermist and Tinkerbell thought she was a garden fairy...
 Happy Day for this kid!

We checked out the innoventions, which was cool, but I can play video games at home. Kael LOVED Iron Man!
We skipped Matterhorn this visit, but got a picture with the mountain. We figured an abominable snowman might be a little too scary after they didn't love thunder mountain.
And everyone but Derek crashed for nap time! We needed it because we stayed for Parades and Fantasmic!

More Rockets while waiting for the parade.
I love the parade. The kids liked the parade, but it just wasn't the same a previous parade's... Eden loved waving to all the Princess's. It's always better if the crowd really gets into it and dances and haves fun, but man this was a rough crowd day.
Eden's face says what her thoughts were on purchasing these suckers and what to do next.
Which one first?
PINK!
We watched a Parade, got dinner and waited for Fantasmic and watched Fireworks on the way out.
Leaving the park.
