Elara was really fussy the other day and I couldn't figure out why. I felt bad for her so I picked her up and held her for about 30 minutes while getting the kids down for naps. I finally had to put her down because I needed two hands and I felt horrible because I didn't want her to have to cry. What I didn't realize is that she was so fussy because she was tired and just wanted to go to sleep in her own bed. She is very much like Kael in that she likes to sleep in her own bed.
I literally laid her on the couch and 3 seconds later she looked like this.
My bad Elara. My bad.
