The surgery residents decided to go boating, so we decided to join in because that is what I wanted to do for my birthday weekend. Derek was one of the only people who knew how to drive a boat so he was in charge of the family pontoon boat. We got to take Kael and Eden on a tube and it was so much fun! Just what we needed to kick off residency!
