August 6, 2014 KAEL IS 6!!!

The decorations and pre party madness. This boy was so excited. Usually we have the kids wake up to a decorated house, but this year I thought they would like to help with the decorating. So the big kids helped me to hang streamers and put worms all over the walls.
Excited much? He was so happy all day long.

The cake was not suppose to fall over and be a big blob, but it did give it a good effect for dirt and worms, and the it tasted amazing. Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate... It's what Kael wanted and I think he was happy.
Pin the worm on the hook was a hit.
These 4 people are the absolute funnest people in the world. And yes, funnest is a word now.
LOVE THEM ALL!!!
Derek surprised Kael and somehow managed to switch shifts so he could be here! He went in at 4 and got off by 9 AM NOT PM! He is the BEST Dad!
On the menu:
Worm noodles (spaghetti), Fish on a hook (gold fish crackers), more WORMS (hot dogs cut like worms and grilled), chips, and gummy worms in ice with their fresca.
And then the friends arrived! The first game was to dig for worms! The kids had to dig 4 gummy worms out of whipped cream and put it on another plate! Kael was happy to go first.

I didn't get any pictures of the kids playing pin the worm on the Hook, but we did get a couple fun pictures of toss the worms!

And then it was pinata time!

After the pinata we had his lunch feast!
Me and Elara showing off the worm foods.

Singing Happy Birthday. I LOVE his face right here. He was truly having a blast and you could just tell.

Then presents! Kael's friends and family sure spoiled him BIG TIME!
He got legos, teenage mutant ninja turtles, transformers toys, and books, and balls, and cards.

After presents and cake and party happiness the kids crashed and took a nap.
Then, it was an early dinner at Red Robin per Kael's request.
They gave Kael free ice cream for his birthday.
He sure loves his little sister.

Once home it was movie time.
Selfie with his Mom.

THEN, finally the much awaited anticipated Aunt Shelly gift was given. It didn't even compare to the switch go dino and train tracks Mom and Dad got him.

I totally love Elara and Eden's different faces. Elara is chilling so happy and Eden is REALLY concentrating.

It was an amazing day for sure! I can't believe this sweet boy is 6! He deserves every moment of happiness because he is the BEST 6 year old boy out there.
Kael,
Mom and Dad and your sisters love you soooo much! You bring so much joy to our family. We couldn't have picked a better person to come be our #1 son. You are a great example, leader, and happy person. Thanks for being who you are! We love you!
Love,
Mom and Dad
