This last little while has been quite stressful. I won't go into details, but we finally have some relief in our lives...
Derek has been dieting since November 2009 trying to make weight for the airforce. This morning at 5:30 he went in for his physical and to see if he would make weight. I won't post how much weight Derek has lost since November, but we are SO PROUD of him! The physical is complete! We just have to wait until October to see if he got the scholarship now. With how good his GPA and MCAT score were and passing his physical he should for sure get into the airforce as a Captain.
What a relief this has been for us. Derek made weight and had room to spare. I can't even describe all that he has done for our family and continues to do. We love you so much Derek! Thank you for providing for us, loving us, tickling, and all that you do for our family!

Now, on to medical school on Tuesday! Good luck!
