Elara got some crafts for her birthday. The girls LOVE crafts, painting, really anything artistic.
Eden and her chickens.
This is chicken Becky. Eden has named the chickens. Well at least 5 of them.
Derek got some food in the mail with dry ice so we had some experimenting to do.
And magic.
I LOVE this photo of Eden.
It's a good thing it's October so we can finally experience Halloween with all the dressing up the kids have been doing! Lots and lots of dressing up.
Connor found a purple marker and went to town...
Because Freya is super cute after a bath.
Derek was finally able to go tubing down the river with us and figured out how to take photos with a water proof cover. We really love this new tradition and have so much fun going with the Pinkston's who we all love so much!
We took the kids to a play ground one weekend and fed some well fed ducks and snapped a few cute pictures of the kiddos.
Derek found this ginormous caterpillar! The kids though it was amazing! Maybe me too.
We painted pumpkins.
We opened cards with balloons and dollars from Grandma and Grandad Sapp!
The kids slept in Mom's room a lot while Dad was working night shifts or gone for the month...
Derek took Sharice on a double date with the Nick's to Circ-de-sol. It was amazing!
Kael taught Connor the disgusting art of eating a gogurt on toast...
I still gag at this new daily ritual Kael has. But, he loves it...
Derek flew out to Boston to present at an anesthesiology conference.
Or he "pretended" to be some big important military doctor for a weekend so he could go tour back east... One of those two things. He missed us, we missed him, and next time I'm leaving the kids and going with him because holy smokes he looks good in a uniform!
And pretty stinkin cute in civilian clothes too... I'm pretty lucky.
He was able to spend some time with his work buddies.
He saw so many amazing historical sites.
He has to send me proof he was "REALLY" going to an anesthesia conference that I wasn't invited to. How rude. Just because I don't have letters after my name.
I got to stay home with this cutie which was totally worth it!
Derek took off for Dallas shortly after getting back from the conference, which meant Halloween duty for Sharice. We went to the ward trunk or treat.
Carved some pumpkins!
Elara has decided she loves baking and wanted to bake her own recipe. This is what she came up with... A cake with frosting. Wasn't too bad either. Pretty sweet, but not bad.
Which left trick-or-treating on Halloween up to Sharice in the POURING rain...
So much rain... We certainly won't forget this Halloween. At least I won't!
It was so wet! No Queen should have to trudge through wet streets without an umbrella, but I made her anyway... It was all for a good cause. LOTS of candy!
We were all completely soaked through by the time we were done.
He just needed some suckers to make it worth being soaked. It was all good.
The kids got vampire teeth with vampire blood. It was really gross.
