Uncle Jake and his crew came to visit at the beginning of October and I didn't get more than 2 pictures the whole time! We had too much fun though, so it made it worth it. We visited the Japanese Tea Gardens and Kael LOVED having one on one cousin time while the other kids were in school. We are so grateful we were able to have family come visit and it was just so much fun!
The beautiful Japanese Tea Gardens I have wanted to visit since first moving to San Antonio.
Dan and Kael who are best internet buds as well as cousins. :)
Kael has loved being able to play games on the internet and chat with his cousins and Uncles.
Two weeks into October I took off for Las Vegas, Nevada. I had been training for a 5K mud run, and the Sapp girls decided to tag along.
The "BEFORE" we got dirty picture.
Top L to R
Aunt Deb, Christine, Lauren, Carly, Aunt Cindy.
Bottom L to R
Janice, Shellianne, Sharice, Shannon, Nicole, and Shawn AKA Mama
For all the Sapp girls we were only missing Emily who just had a baby and Chelsea who couldn't get away.
We missed them, but someday hope to do another Sapp girl vacation.
Everyone says I'm not allowed to plan the next get together.
It was REALLY hard, but SO much fun! It was so nice to see that we all could do hard things!

The "After" photo
My cousin Christine said it right. She said whenever I feel like something is too hard I'm going to put on this shirt and remember I can do tough things.
Right after we were all starving and we got some Cafe Rio and it was the BEST food for a bunch of dirty ladies. We were all covered in mud, but it was so worth it!
That night we got all dressed up and went out to dinner.
It was my Aunt Deb's 50th birthday the next day. She said when we all turn 50 we have to do the run again and see how hard it is to do when we are 50. Love these ladies so much!
My sweet Aunt Deb who helped arrange all this fun with everyone.
While Mom is gone Dad spoiled the kids, and they were well taken care of. They had soccer on Saturday that Dad made sure they got to and then had the primary program on Sunday. They were all dressed and beautiful for church and he even managed to record their parts so I could still hear them.
He took them to Red Robin for dinner and they build blanket forts in the house to sleep in. Connor somehow managed to pee his fort...
Red Robin for dinner and Baskin Robbin for desert. All the Robins while Mom is gone.
I'm so grateful for Derek. I'm so blessed to have a husband who is so willing to care for his family and give us these opportunities to be with family and for me to set goals and accomplish them. Our children are so lucky to have a father who cares so much about each of them and loves them as much as he does. Family is everything.
We were able to do a Trunk or Treat up at the Pinkston's for their ward party. We missed ours, so we were glad to make this one.
Derek has had several work dinners. Some take him out of town and some are device representatives teaching them here in town.
Connor's preschool class had centers where they rotated doing different games, crafts, and activities. I love being able to volunteer at the school some days.
Connor with his new Star Wars shirt. We are getting excited to go to Disneyland, but the wait until February 2020 is SO long!
Some days Connor gets home from school and he is just too tired to even stand.
We made scones for dinner one night and they were super yummy! We haven't had them in forever!
My friend Angie Webber invited us to Sea World one day so me and the boys had fun trick or treating at Sea World. Kael has been enjoying these kind of home schooling opportunities.
We decorated for Halloween and carved pumpkins. We ended up with a sad face, a cat, a one eyed monster, and a bat!
The kids got to dress up for school as a book character.
Elara was a creeper in Minecraft, Connor was a pirate from Treasure Island, and Eden was a Dementor from Harry Potter 3.
The group of fellows in the Pain Department this year are so fun.
Derek is with 3 other guys
Derek, Dave, Devin, and Dan
They all start with D names and all are such good sports. Dave came up with the idea they should dress up as Ninja Turtles for work and they all handed out candy to the kids and families who were stuck in the hospital for Halloween.
For the first time in years Derek was off for Halloween and it wasn't raining!!!
Derek was a scary clown (because all clowns are scary), Kael was a silver storm trooper, Eden was a Dementor from Harry Potter, Elara was a girl from Monster High, and Connor was Jack Sparrow a pirate.
It just wouldn't be Halloween without some candy swapping going on.
October was a busy, but super fun month.
The entire time soccer was in full motion, and we were barely keeping up.
November would provide a much needed break from sports for a while.
