April Part 1

Andrew and Morgan came to visit about a week after they got married and we introduced them to pie face.

Derek's week of leave started with us hiking around looking at houses. We love looking at houses. We love planning and thinking about our future, but also enjoying the now. The kids love exploring with us.

A new favorite past time is eating otter pops.

I LOVE spying on the kids out of the kitchen window.

Poor Freya got fixed and had the cone of shame. Everyone loved her at the vet clinic.

We took a beach trip to Corpus Cristi.

The kids got so tired in the car.

I love snapping random photos of them sleeping in the car to black mail them with as adults. Eden's mouth is ALWAYS hanging open when she falls asleep in the car.

We love taking the kids to Chuck E. Cheese in Corpus. We get a good discount and they can go crazy.

April 15 our Anniversary of 11 years! 

It was fun having our anniversary off of work this year. Since it was Easter the next day we went up to visit the Pinkston's and dyed some Easter eggs. The Pinkston's also set up an egg hunt for the kids and they got spoiled rotten with tons of candy. It was so much fun. The kids got to help paint and look for bugs and play with the dogs. We always have so much fun visiting our family.

 Eden poses like a natural. Elara tries hard to make cute poses. Her natural smile is the BEST though.

March Part 2

We went and visited the Pinkston's and went to this cool river to explore. They celebrated Eden's birthday with us and spoiled her rotten with presents and ice cream cake.

Heidi came again to save the day for our family. She came and watched the kids while Derek worked night shifts and made it so I could go to girls camp.

It was such an amazing, fun, and spiritual experience that I am so very grateful I had the opportunity to go. It was so good in fact 4 months later I got called as the girls camp director and now I get to go again in March, and once again Heidi says she will come save us again. Have I mentioned how much I love Heidi? And not because she watches and loves my kids. 

Elara sometimes just gives Odin some extra love.

 Elara earned meal worms for something and that was the reward she picked. Connor liked playing with them too and put one on his shirt... Gross... The kids love them...

Kael's friends Owen and Michael came over after school one day and we made pizzas. 

Our friend Sophia turned 6 and had a party at a skating ring. The kids had a great time skating around. Derek had some work to do at home and stayed home to work while Connor napped, which was awesome so I didn't have to chase him around.

We got the game pie face and the kids LOVE this game. 

 Connor got a hair cut. Seems like he always has a bump on his head or face now.
