We went with our friends the Bentz and headed straight to the beach about 2.5 hours away from our home. The entire vacation was just amazing and the Bentz were just so fun to go on vacation with.
The water at the gulf is definitely different from the Pacific. The water was warm and felt like swimming in pee in some places. The waves weren't as big, but because we went on a stormy day they were big enough for a boogie board if we had one. And you could walk out forever and still only be at your knees!
