April 2019 Part 2 Easter Day, Connor Birthday, and the rest of the month

Easter Morning April 21

Easter was wonderful and it wouldn't be Easter with out some deviled eggs.

Eden's friend gave her a bike that actually fits Eden. She was so excited. We love being on base where the kids can actually ride there bikes everywhere.
The kids keep finding and catching slugs AND then losing them in my house! They are so gross, but Connor loves them so much. I randomly would see slime trails in the mornings sometimes and have been super grossed out by it.
AND
Connor Party Time!
 This boy is SO spoiled.
He got a bounce house for his party.
I'm pretty sure Connor thought the bounce house was HIS birthday present and he could keep it forever. It was pretty funny, but we sure loved being able to play around on it for the weekend.
His cake was one of my favorite I have made yet. He asked for a banana cake. Where he came up with that I have no idea, but it tasted SO good! Cream cheese frosting and super moist homemade banana cake. It was perfection. It doesn't look like it would taste good with all the dye, but it was DELICIOUS. All the parents were eating it more than the kids.

Saturday morning we had soccer games all morning and then hurried home for Connor's party.

 Dear Connor,
Happy 4th Birthday!
Mom and Dad love your happy face SO very much! You are constantly learning and growing and having new adventures. I think that adventurous describes you well. You like trying new things, and going on adventures with your family. You are kind, fun, loving, and happy boy. You love your older siblings so very much, and were so needed for our family. You keep all of us on our toes, and we all love making you happy. You help make each and every one of us better each day and learn to love a little more, be a little more patient, and kinder. You are such a joy and it was so much fun seeing the joy you got from this spider-man birthday party. You love being with your friends and you love understanding and figuring things out. You love being 4! You love soccer, and all things fun.
You are the best youngest son and we love you so much!
Happy Birthday Connor!
Love,
Your family
Connor got to open his family presents that night after his party when Dad could watch on facetime.
Connor really loved watching all the kids play soccer this spring, but he really wanted to be in on the action. So, for his birthday he got a spider-man hat, a soccer ball with shin guards and soccer shirt, AND a promise to play soccer in the fall.

The Pinkston's were going to The Piano Guys concert and invited me, and Kael LOVES "The Piano Guys", so I let him tag along with me. We both loved it so much and it was a great night out.

The last day of April this weird black box showed up on my front porch. I was SO confused until I remembered where I had seen it before!
Derek shipped a bunch of his stuff in a black container, which meant this beautiful black tub was full of Derek's things! ONE STEP CLOSER TO HOME! It was the BEST package in a while. This box meant Derek officially had begun his journey HOME!
