The kids had camping down by this point and are big fans after this trip.
They learned the art of sleeping however you can while camping and getting out of your sleeping bag and freezing.

Jenna and Elara became BFF's over the summer and now need frequent phone calls to stay in touch and when will I see my best friend Jenna again Mom comments all the time. It was torture separating the two.

We went to a Burger King play place with Grandma and Eden wanted a picture with a girl she played with, and of her blue tongue from her slurpee. And Grandma blocks never disappoint.

We were able to visit Aunt Nicole and cousins, Uncle Jerris and cousins, and Uncle Josh and Aunt Emily, and Aunt Janice and cousins! Whew! All were much too brief, but much needed.
The next trip we will be sure to grab more photos. This trip we were just so happy to make all the memories!
That Texas sign meant home was near and it was time to get home. We weren't too sad though because we had the Day's coming for a visit!
