Phoenix Trip

Hooray!! We made it to my sister Shannon's house! My cousin Chase got married on May 31st and it was a big get to together for my mom's side of the family! It was so much fun to see everyone!

Baby Shower May 24th

1st ultrasound

Ok... So I hope my son forgives me someday for showing his manhood on the internet. I'm just excited to see that he's really gonna come. =0)

Whale Watching in Cali...

This was the reason Derek and I took our little trip to California. We went out on a boat for an hour to go see whales, and we got dolphins! Then we took another hour to get back to land, and we were happy to walk on steady ground.

"Street Katz"

When Derek and I were in California we were able to go see the play "Wicked". It was really amazing. Before the show we were able to get a little pre-entertainment. There was a group called the "Street Katz" who were singing in front of the theatre. We had time to burn, so we listened for a while and it was really entertaining! It also gave me a chance to figure out how the video works on my camera Derek gave me for Christmas.

California again!!!!

Hello all! So much to update! Derek and I went for another excursion! The beginning of March we went to California again! Wahoo! It was an amazing trip! We went to Universal Studios. We saw Jaws!! Ok not really, but the place where some of the footage was shot! And lots of cool other stuff! I think the funniest one for me was Shrek 4-D. You had water spraying your face, a cool 3-D film, and it felt like you were riding a horse. It was a blast!

We also went to an amazing musical that night. It was called "Wicked"! It was the best musical/play ever! For me and Derek at least. It was about before the Wizard of Oz, and how Glenda the good witch went to high school with Alfeda the wicked witch of the west. It was amazing!

Ok..... The news is out..... Yes, I'm pregnant! Wahoo! Derek and I went to our first doctors apt. today! We got to hear a heart beat on the doppler! Sooooo, around August 20th we'll see a baby!

Jeffrey Craige Nyberg: Born May 2007

HERE HE IS! This is our nephew Jeffrey! We were able to meet him for the first time in June thanks to Shelly and Brian for making the trip! It was fun having them down for a while!

New Earth Systems (Derek's job)

(Brent "engineer", Kirk "Derek's dad and CEO, Jeff "really smart business guy in California", Rick "Derek's uncle and on board of directors", and Derek! This business is doing really well. Derek has been in California for about 4 weeks now coming home on the weekends. It's been great getting the machine moved to California.


For you car fans! This is just a fun photo. Brent and Derek were able to get a "good" look at Jeff's car. Derek says it is a Ferrari and there are only like 100 made in the whole world and this is #72. Ask Derek for details...



This is Derek and Brent hard at work. This station's computer operates all the machines little controls and monitors the gauges and well I'm not an engineer. It controls a whole lot of the machine!

Sharice's Birthday June 2007

Derek is such a cute boy! I had such a great birthday! Everyone made it really nice! I had phone calls from everyone and a nice lunch! It was amazing! Thank you everyone!

I really needed some help blowing out the candles though! I had the hardest time! Gwyn and Garek really helped so much!
